We're talking about the forum we got this from, Gameware; and yeah, the CC is as good as dead Gameware is a computer game company that made possibly the awesomest AI game ever, Creatures, and after a big argument on their forums spiraled downwards to the loss of the non-Creatures related sections, well, it was on a fast track to oblivion. Now Lisa, the admin, apparently decided that enough was enough; she didn't get paid anyway, so now the forum has no admin and doesn't exist. Some of the members fled to other sites, like the Kingdom of Aithalis, Creaturetopia, and Blackstar Dojo. But now KoA has shifted its focus from Creatures to Spore (another fairly awesome game, BTW), Blackstar's Creatures RP section hasn't been posted on for months, and Creaturetopia... I haven't gone there so I dunno really, but I can guess that it's not going well. I miss the good old days T.T sure there was some spam and randomness, but that's what made it fun. besides, everyone who joined the forum was told to leave their sanity in a skull-shaped basket. what did they really expect? |

I think it really just gets to that point for a lot of big forums. There's too many people to keep everything nice and friendly, and because there's so many people, the admin lose touch with the members. So instead of trying to work things out on a personal level, they have to deal with flat consequences so that they don't lose their minds trying to work things out. >->;
