According to popular vote (even if it's outdated) I'm going to wait for the following before we start:

i. 10+ active members [done!]
ii. 1+ high position filled for each Clan [done!]
iii. 15+ total characters [done!]

Yep. That's right, you're not seeing wrong: there's no posts in the IC sections of the forum.

Why?

Quite simply: Things should go off with a bang. I know waiting gets boring, but what would you prefer? An awesome first night with a good group of people roleplaying like crazy, or a slow trickling-in that means about five posts a week until things get going? Trust me on this one. I've seen both, and I've a good guess to which one will get us settled in quickly.

But I still want your input, definitely! I need to know when would be a good time to start, and just how much you think we'll need to get going. Please post here if you've got any suggestions. ^^

As a side note, here's some tweaks to keep an eye on in the meantime:

~Additional layouts
~Pages added to the webbie
~More goodies from the Proboards code database

And here's some things to do in the meantime:
~Create your character profiles!
~Ask an admin if you can help out with the webbie or the layouts. We can use some help there!

My personal opinion is that we should have at least ten active members, maybe more, plus all leaders and medicine cats. "Active" means, for these purposes, that they've posted at least once and have made or soon intend to make a character profile.

Yeah I think most, if not all, high positions should be filled before we start RPing. That would take around 10 members, or 15-20 if you count deputies and MC apprentice too. That is, if a person can only have one high rank. Assuming everyone makes a few side characters, we should have a doable amount of characters in each clan with that many people.

Yeah, I'm thinking pretty much along the same lines.

(Oh and btw...you can only have one leader/med cat, but you can still have a deputy/m.c. app as long as your leader/med cat dies before your deputy/m.c. app goes up in rank...if that even makes sense xD I should probably put that up in the rules or something somewhere .-.)
