{So I nod my head, I'm ready for the world to see...}
[Song lyrics from Blue October - Chameleon Boy]
Picture:
Name:
Chameleonfur {Chamy}
Gender:
Tom
Age (as of entering rp):
20 moons
Rank and Clan:
Medicine Cat of Phantomclan
{I change my color for you, I shed my coat with caution}
Physical Description:
Chameleonfur is on the smaller side for an adult tom. His build is rather lithe and compact, making sneaking about quite easy for him. He finds his large ears rather deplorable and tends to have them folded back; this gives him a constant look of suspicion and being on edge. His whiskers are long and well-kept. The small tom has a tortoise-shell pelt, his right side being mostly black with tan splatters and his left just the opposite. It is quite evident on his face which seems to be split right down from his forehead to his nose. His eyes are of a deep golden shade, but can appear bright yellow in the sunlight.
{What sort of mess I mean is self-destructive, gasoline}
Personality:
It is difficult to place Chameleonfur’s exact personality at times. Most of the time, he is rather withdrawn and anti-social. He despises large groups since they make him very nervous; he always feels as though he is being judged. On rare occasions he will stand up for himself with little nervousness. In his good moods, Chameleonfur is very mischievous and curious. He enjoys coming up with plots and plans, be it something serious or a small prank. He’s very sneaky about everything, and it takes him quite some time to trust a cat. Chameleonfur also tends to hold on to grudges forever and can be quite stubborn. He respects the higher status members in the clan even though he is known to talk back. Chameleonfur doesn't fight unless it's completely necessary. He is more defensive than aggressive in battle and can move very quickly.
{See here they are the bruises, and some were self-inflicted}
History:
Chameleonkit was the only kit born to Goldenleaf and Mothflight. Both of them were Phantomclan warriors, but neither was totally 'clan-born'. Goldenleaf was an ocelot, brought into the clan by the loss of her family. Mothflight's parents were both former loners. This lack of clan blood caused the clan to alienate Chameleonkit on many occasions. He was barely trusted at all by the the clan, even though he was only a tiny kit. This issued worsened when his parents decided they would flee from the clan. Chameleonkit chose to stay in the clan. He didn't want to be like his parents at all, and even wished to be a loyal warrior. He was sure to always do what he was told. Even if all the other kits snuck out of camp, Chameleonkit would stay behind. It made him an outsider amoung those his own age, but it did make older members of the clan trust him better. There was only a bit of grumbling from a select few clan members when he was apprenticed to the medicine cat. The clan didn't understand how a cat with such little clan blood would be able to communicate with Starclan and take care of his clan. He, however, ended up excelling at remembering his herbs and interpreting signs from Starclan. During the great 'battle', Chameleonfur lost his mentor. Luckily, he was made a full medicine cat just before and easily took over all the duties of his mentor.
Why would you make a good medicine cat? What would make your character interesting as one?
YOU KNOW ME. Lol, now about Chamy. He's an outsider in the clan, so making him a medicine cat puts him that much further away from everyone else. He's like the clan hermit XD
Tell me about your apprentice.
Um he doesn't have one, but wouldn't mind getting one.
If you haven't mentioned it already - how often are you online? Are you on many other forums/roleplay sites? How much experience do you have with roleplay as a whole, with Warriors roleplay, and with admin spots in forums?
I'm online everyday, I go on a few other sites (thinking about quiting two of them, one is pretty much dead and the people on the second site seem to be ignoring me). I've roleplayed for about 5 years, and most of it was Warriors. I'm admin on another site, which Ren knows very well lol.
Rp example:
Darksong padded into camp, his paws weighted down by a sea of different emotions. His pelt was completely soaked in blood, so much so that he appeared to be a crimson tom instead of an ebony one. The look in his amber eyes conveyed that he was elsewhere, and not entirely focused on the present. His mind pondered the future.
Patchstar would surely exile him, if not attempt to kill him. Darksong thought "attempt" since the chubby leader was defiantly no match for him, especially considering the kind of day Darksong had. He was determined to stand up for what was right even if it meant killing.
The old Darksong wouldn't even have returned to camp. He hadn't cared about anyone in the clan. Now things were different; he had Rainclaw and their kits to look after. In addition, there weren't many cats in the clan Darksong truly disliked. His hatred was saved for Patchstar.
Why did it seem to him that everyone besides him and Starredmyst (and perhaps a select few others, Darksong didn't recall specifically who) wouldn't dare defy the leader to his face? Were they content in their maltreatment? Did they prefer to ignore Starclan? Darksong thought they all must be daft.
Then again, Darksong recalled his attitude towards Tornspirit's musings about a rebellion. At that point in his life, all Darksong wanted was to be accepted in the clan and live out his life however he pleased. His pursuits were rather selfish. Even his widely disliked father thought of the clan's future before his own.
Darksong supposed that meant he had finally become Tornspirit. It was an inevitable thing he had always dread, yet now that it had happened he was content with it. He felt much happier than he was before.
And yet...
He felt as though he had to do something to help the clan. There were so many decent cats in the clan who deserved a better leader than Patchstar.
This time, Darksong knew exactly what he must do. He didn't need a sign or dream from Starclan.
Patchstar had to die.
