Picture:
Name: Frozenstar
Gender: Male
Age (as of entering rp): 61 moons
Rank and Clan: Leader of FlightClan
Physical Description: A thin white cat, on the small side for a tom in the prime of life. What Frozenstar lacks in brute strength he makes up for with agility and quickness. He is almost abnormally skinny, even for a feral cat. His ears are notched and ragged from a lifetime of battles, and he walks with a faint limp.
His eyes are the blue-gray of a lake just before it freezes, and they give away very little of his emotions. Only when he is angry does his face have expression-- and then his eyes burn with a rage that is terrifying to behold.
Personality: Frozenstar is detached and remote, confiding in no one. At heart, he is a quiet, solitary cat who dislikes-- almost distrusts-- extensive conversations and socializing. He prefers to hunt and patrol alone rather than with any others.
He adheres rigidly to the warrior code, making sure that any cat who breaks it has a fair punishment that will hopefully teach them a lesson. He tries to deal honorably with the other Clans, and views spying and oath-breaking as unforgivable slights.
History: Frozenstar was born in FlightClan, the only child of the warrior/queen Hazelvoice. He has never known who his father was and, quite frankly, doesn't care. When he was a kitten he used to entertain himself with dreams that his father was a noble warrior-- perhaps even a Clan leader-- but he knows now that such wishful thinking is folly.
As an apprentice, Frozenpaw was quiet and solitary, refusing help from his denmates if there was something that he could not achieve. This isolated attitude led to him becoming a warrior unusually late: his mentor believed that until he learned to cooperate with others he was not ready to become a full member of FlightClan.
Frozensky tried to take his mentor's words to heart, and worked hard to try to gain the trust and friendship of his Clanmates. He won renown as an excellent hunter, and was honored when the leader asked him to mentor an apprentice. His apprentice, Stormpaw, was hot-tempered and rash, and Frozensky found himself arguing frequently with her. A few moons after, she disappeared. She was dead a few days later, having been killed by a fox. Frozensky blamed himself for this unfortunate incident, and took pains to be more patient with his other apprentices.
When he was 45 moons old, he was appointed deputy. He disliked having to organize patrols-- he found this tedious-- but was nevertheless an efficient and fairly good deputy. After the leader died, Frozenstar ascended to the leadership of FlightClan. He has been a leader for seven moons now.
Leaders-
Why would you -- YOU, not your character! -- do well with a leader position on the site? What would make your character interesting as one?
I think I'd be a good leader because I'd have fun keeping track of plots for the Clan. I like it when there are groups of stories that are interconnected.
Frozenstar would be an interesting leader due to his extremely strict interpretation of the warrior code. He would make sure that cats who transgressed were punished, but he would also demand that cats from other Clans that broke the warrior code in some fashion that involved FlightClan--tresspassing or stealing prey, for example-- be punished by their own leader. This may lead to disputes with the other Clans.
Tell me about your deputy.
Frozenstar would trust his deputy and confide most of his ideas and worries about the Clan in him (or her). Qualities he would look for in a potential deputy include honesty, a good work ethic, and a cat who is respected and well-liked by his Clanmates.
The deputy would help keep the Clan's forums in order, and would be able to advise on bios.
If you haven't mentioned it already - how often are you online? Are you on many other forums/roleplay sites? How much experience do you have with roleplay as a whole, with Warriors roleplay, and with admin spots in forums?
I have been roleplaying for over a year, on a few different Warriors sites and one wolf site. I have held a ranking position on almost ever site, and have also been a moderator.
My parents are restricting my computer time somewhat, so I am less active than I'd like to be. However, I am able to be online for an hour or so on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and most weekend days.
Rp example:
Frozenstar ghosted across the ground, the grass whispering under his paws. His pale eyes flickered back and forth and he lifted his head slightly, scenting for mouse. A flicker of motion caught his eye and he swiveled his head towards it.
A mouse was scuffling amid the roots of a bush, its dark eyes glittering as it looked for seeds. Frozenstar crept towards it, moving smoothly and silently. He could feel, as always, the joy of the hunt coursing through his blood. His eyes narrowed. A few more steps should do it...
The mouse looked up, its bright gaze looking into Frozenstar's own. The white cat cursed and flung himself forwards, but the mouse was already whisking away into its burrow and his claws dug painfully into the hard dirt.
The leader scrambled upright again, eyes narrowed. He shook his head bitterly, disappointed with himself, and stalked away.
