March 6-8 We hold Gatherings once every two months; theoretically they shouldn't last longer than the weekends mentioned, but we continue them until the Gathering is "finished." Please try to clear these weekends up to post at least a little.

Imagine for me, if you will, a once upon a time...
Once upon a time, there were five great Clans ruling a wild boundless world. Once upon a time, there was nothing but strength and grace and beauty inhabiting what was and was not living. Once upon a time...once upon a time, we cats were one, and we were bound together by the great sixth Clan of the endless sky.
Once upon a time, we were invincible.
That was before the Storm.
That was before the arrogance of Clan cats made them forget StarClan. Before PhantomClan and MountainClan made their deadly pact and attacked the other Clans in the middle of a Gathering. Before StarClan showed its anger in the Storm that killed more than half of the Clans' cats.
Now the Clans are decimated. Cats are shakily picking their lives back up, but the very act of living will be a challenge; physically, for the land has been ravaged by the days-long downpour, and emotionally, for by now there is hardly a cat in the Clan that has no blood on its paws. Can they survive to pull themselves back together?
Hear my words, kitten. Learn from the mistakes of your elders. Guard what you know to be precious, and never put something above your Clan - or the others. Live for love, not for strength....
Welcome to L&S! This is a recently-restarted Warriors site, open to any and all levels of roleplay. We're just getting going, and there's a lot of admin positions still open. =)
The Land
Season: Leafbare is coming to an end, but it remains bitter cold, particularly higher in the mountains.
Prey: Scarce. Most little creatures are long in hibernation, and this means trouble until you find a den.
If anyone knows about some sort of free weather generator, please PM Wandersoul. I think it'd be cool to post something like that up here, but I'm not quite sure how to do it. =P

FrondClan Camp "FrondClan's Camp is located closer to the unknown territories than to the rest of the Clans, and thus took less damage than that of other camps. The nursery and elder's den are hollow logs, as is the leader's, which, in the center, is largest and also used as the leader's perch in Gatherings; the rest of the dens are beneath low-branched trees and build up with ferns. These are more exposed to the elements than the logs. The fresh-kill pile is next to the leader's den; the barrier is composed of ferns, mud and some bramble, and was all but decimated by the fire." The Forests "FrondClan is the Clan of the forests. Lying the most westward of all the Clans, they inhabit the flatter ground where the foilage thickens. Though damaged by the fire, the forest remains mostly intact." Moderator: .:Maplestar:.

RunningWaters and Silted Shore RunningWaters slows and widens as it moves from FlightClan to FrondClan. The river winds southwest, then moves back east to form the border with PhantomClan. Silted Shore is a small, grainy beach, perfect for fishing. Moderator: .:Maplestar:.

SwiftClan
SwiftClan Camp "SwiftClan's Camp is rather open to the sky. The leader's den and meeting place is a tall rock with a hollow beneath it. The other dens are thick sproutss of brush, reinforced by the cats who sleep in them; while they look solid at first glance, there is a small, warm hollow in the center of each of them. The Clan is protected only by the river at the bottom of the hill and their high vantage point, and because of this there is a cat or two on sentry whenever possible." Rockmounds "The Rockmounds are the main hunting spot of SwiftClan. Small mammals hide in its little caves, within close reach of the river. MountainClan
MountainClan Camp "MountainClan's Camp is a surprisingly lively place for such a rugged area. They have little protection from the elements; the dens are located in recesses of the rock. The leader's den is in the back of camp, and they merely collect with their leader highest on the slope when there is a meeting.This is nearer to FlightClan's camp than the heart of their territory.' The Mountains and Hunting Grounds "MountainClan is located in the lower mountains to the east. Their territory is mostly rocky and uninhabitable, but they are strong and suited to the difficulties." WaterRise "WaterRise is probably one of the more hospitable places in MountainClan. While the water is tepid and it is generally better to drink from rain pools, prey gathers here during the cold leafbare months and are easily found. FlightClan Camp "FlightClan's camp is in an abandoned Twolegplace. Lore says it was placed there by StarClan, but the cats are learning better as Twolegs begin to make an appearance. Dens are built by bringing moss into the shelter - the different dens are not as separated as is typical - and the barrier created by the building's threshold is built up by branches and thorns." The Great Trees "The Great Trees are where all five Clans come for Gatherings. Ten ancient trees encircle a fallen trunk at the corner of PhantomClan, FlightClan and FrondClan land.
